Here is the scenario!
You join an MLM company and you are told that this can replace your income. First, you invest a certain amount of money to get in. Next, there is that auto-ship order that you must fulfill every month or you are knocked down the line and cannot receive commissions.
Your up-line has helped you (or maybe not). You went through ALL the tutorials there are on the business. You are ready.
First, go to your soft market – your family and friends.
Then, you advertise in local papers, and in classified ads.
Your company even offers: “Here is the way you can market on the internet: via our corporate business page”. Then they warn:
“Shhhhh Don’t EVER mention our name”. Some MLM’s won’t let you mention their names or use their logos in your advertising, blogs or videos.
You are on the phone all day. Maybe your MLM company offers a list of leads you can purchase. You spend a fortune on advertising brochures. You even are flying to Expos. You are at a booth all day and then, after buying your own dinner, return to your hotel.
DO THE MATH FOLKS!
What are your expenses versus what you are actually making in income?
If this works for you, fine.
But, if you’re like most of us out here, it just doesn’t add up.
I have found a solution to this problem: Internet Marketing!
The philosophy is just the opposite of what you have been taught to do. Stop shoving your product into people’s faces. No one likes that. Stop bothering your friends and family. Soon, they will look at their caller ID and never answer your call.
INSTEAD!
You can market in a way that people actually start coming to you. This is called “attraction marketing”. It requires “personal branding” so that people become involved in YOU, not in a product or business opportunity.
There are many ways to achieve this, and in this series, we will explore them in detail. So take a break from struggling in your MLM business.
