ARE YOU STRUGGLING IN YOUR MLM BUSINESS? Part 3

This post was most recently updated on February 23rd, 2014

In Part 1, I explained how to attract leads TO YOU instead of chasing after them with endless phone calls.  In Part 2, I explained how you need to get noticed through Social Networks.

Here, in Part 3, I am going to show you how to use your blog to develop a strong MLM business and downline.

First of all, keep in mind that your blog is the CENTRAL HUB to which people will ultimately come to find out all about YOU. By now, you signed up with all the social networks.  These are the sites to which you want to link your blog so people can see it.

But what is your blog worth if it doesn’t have good content?  By now, you have learned not to make it a blog about your product or business opportunity. That’s like saying “buy me … buy me.”  When you are watching TV commercial, you will usually use that “buy me” time to get a snack or click to another channel.  The same analogy goes here.  People Do Not want to listen to another “buy me” story.

INSTEAD: If you write valuable content that people find helpful, they will look forward to learning more about the content, but even more, they will want to know more about YOU.

You will soon be recognized as a leader within your niche.  And that is want you want to be:  A Leader.  You blog is a place to go to where people will learn something valuable.

It can coincide with your MLM.  The Trick here is to give them valuable information leading to your product without mentioning it.   I’ve seen it time and time again and noticed the great amount of syndication those bloggers are getting.

Here is where Youtube works well, too.  You can insert a Youtube video in your blog post.  Don’t make it too long – 3 to 5 minutes will do.  The shorter the better.  But here they will see You, the Leader, explaining to them how something works.  Let’s use the Health and Wellness niche as an example.  You may be selling a green drink, so take an ingredient in that drink and blog about how important it is for your body.

Example:  “Did you know that sea algae can benefit your health by…etc.”  Many people don’t know that, but your tags will say improve your health, are you always tired? Need more energy?  Sea algae: myth or reality?  These are a few examples you can “tag” your story to.

The point is, your information is not about buying or joining something.  It’s valuable to those who want to learn the content you offer.  And the most valuable thing to them is getting to meet you, a leader in the niche that they are interested in.

Ultimately, this personal branding will help you be a leader in your niche, in your MLM, and with your downline.

Follow these tips, and start developing a great MLM organization. I appreciate your comments or questions below.  I’ll be happy to answer them.
