How to get new leads daily

Get New Leads DailyYou need to get new leads daily in order to sustain any kind of an online business.

If you sell a service or your professional expertise, “new leads” means prospects and clients.

Are you a blogger?

If so, then I don’t have to tell you that you need new leads daily to build a following.

And you need those new leads to subscribe to your email list.

How’s that been going for you?

Maybe you’re a freelancer, or affiliate marketer.

Then you need to get new leads daily to maintain a steady flow of buyers and clients for your product and service offerings.

Any way you look at it, running an online business of any type requires new leads every day to survive and thrive.

Is your business set up right?

If it is, then you should be pulling people in like they’re on a conveyor belt.

But think about it for a moment.

Is your business set up to bring in daily leads?Your Best Leads

Many people run special events or social media campaigns to get leads.

Or they pay for Facebook Ads or Google Ads or some such thing.

But events, campaigns and ads only bring in leads and prospects as long as they’re running.

Then what?

Here’s what things should look like

You don’t need a sporadic effort to pull in new leads.

What you do need is something built into your daily business operation that can get you those leads without hardly thinking about it.

And to get them without making any special effort, like creating an all-out “campaign” to pull them into your business.

Here’s what you must do to get new leads daily like I’m talking about.

Daily content attracts new leads

All lead generation starts with the content you post… every day.

Now, don’t get scared.

This doesn’t mean you have to create content every day.

It only means you need to post it every day.

Here’s what I mean.

Post daily

You need to post content that you’ve created every day.

But it can be something that’s “old” as well as something “new.”

Maybe it’s a new video.

Or, maybe it’s an old blog post.

In other words, make use of content you’ve already created, as well as new content.

Lead generation

This is a really good article on generating leads “like a machine” (love it!).
(Entrepreneur Business Blog)

That makes it easier to keep posting every day.

Rely on your digital assets

Now, this may be a bit more work if you don’t have much content that you’ve already created… your so-called “digital assets.”

It will mean that you need to keep up with a content creation schedule until you’ve got a bunch of things you can fall back on.

Once you have that, then each day, just pick something to post on social media.

That’s the importance of having a library of digital assets that you can rely on at any time.

Build your email list daily

If your content has a way for people to sign up for your email list, then you’re all set.

But if it doesn’t, you’ll have to add it.

So, before you post a video you have on YouTube, for instance… go to the description box and add a link to your squeeze page.

You can even give it an enticing intro like “to learn more about this, click here to get my free report.”

Then, people can just click, subscribe to your email list, and get your free report… or ebook… or video training, or anything else you’ve got for them.

The key is to continually post content, either new or old.

And be sure to link that content in some way to a gateway offer to get your new leads to join your email list.

Generate Leads fast

If you keep posting like this every day, you’ll continually get daily new leads streaming into your business.

Publish power content

The quality of your content matters, too.

It won’t help you much to publish content every day if you don’t have good stuff to post.

By “good,” I mean helpful.

Make sure the content you publish is always improving peoples lives in some way.

Maybe it shows them how to create images, or transcribe a video or whatever it is that people in your niche would find helpful.

And try to include a steady dose of helpful “power content.”

In other words, things that really connect with your audience.

Remember, you can attract the leads and prospects that you need every time you publish and post content.

So always try to deliver the most powerful content you can.

Power content includes things that people (ie., potential leads) resonate with the most.

These include things like blog posts, social media posts and videos.

Blog posts

Blog posts are power content because you will always look more authoritative when you have your own blog.

Some of the most powerful blog posts to deliver are case studies.

Those really help you put your best foot forward because they show how you’ve helped someone overcome a key challenge in your niche.

People reading a case study can identify with the student or client.

They’ve struggled with the same obstacles and challenges.

Blog posts give you the opportunity to show exactly how you were able to help your student or client to succeed.

So they can do wonders for your ability to get new leads daily.

Videos

Videos are even more powerful.

That’s because you can actually demonstrate how you are able to solve problems for people in your niche.

And, again, case studies make really great material for videos for the same reasons they do for blog posts.

In addition, when a prospect gets to see you on a video, or at least hear your voice narrating it, they start to feel like they know you.

Just like you probably feel that you know certain characters in your favorite television shows.

Blog posts are like telling a story.

But videos are like acting those stories out.

How to make the first video for your blog

They are much more visual, and therefore, more personal.

As such, you’ll be able to develop a relationship with people who see your video and build a connection with you.

It’s a really incredible way to get new leads daily.

Challenge people to take action

Every time you publish an article or video… every time you post something on social media… you must give people a call to action.

And it must be very clear and concise.

What kind of calls to action are most likely to get new leads daily for you?

Quite simply, those calls to action that bring people into a closer relationship with you.

So let’s look at a few examples that might suit you.

Standard calls to action

When you hear the term “call to action” or CTA, you probably think of the typical, standard types of actions that bloggers and marketers use.

Like these…

Sales page

A sales page is a web page asking your reader to buy something.

That’s a pretty clear call to action.

No mistaking it for anything else.

You use it to generate a sale immediately.

Squeeze page

Not everyone is intent on making sales right away.

If you ask people to make a purchase, you have a very low probability of getting them to take that action.

So, let’s say your sales page results in 3% sales conversion.

In other words, 3 out of 100 people will actually purchase whatever you are offering them.

That’s actually not bad.

But still, you lost 97 of the 100 people, possibly forever.

Get them on your list

So instead of linking to a sales page, you might have better long-term success by asking them to subscribe to your email list.

That’s the purpose of a squeeze page.

Increase blog leads

Learn How to Increase traffic on Blog – 19 Ways to Promote for More Subscribers from Sunita Biddu.

Don’t ask them to buy anything.

Maybe even give them something for free in exchange for their subscription to your email newsletter.

Let’s say you get 30 or 40 percent conversion from your squeeze page.

Now, for 100 people who click on it, 30 or 40 of them will end up on your email list.

You decide what call to action works best for you.

But, in my experience, it’s usually much better to get people on your email list rather than trying to sell them something right away.

Once they are there, you can always reintroduce your sales page as well as new promotions.

Advanced calls to action

Most people send traffic to their sales page or squeeze page.

But if you really want to get new leads daily, you need to think outside the box on this.

Did you ever wonder how to get leads without always pitching something?

I know.

It’s uncomfortable to keep selling all the time.

But you don’t have to pitch in order to generate leads.

And that includes pitching people to join your list.

Here’s some advanced calls to action you could try.

Take a quiz

Challenge your readers to “take a quiz.”

Everybody has fun with a quiz, and it doesn’t feel like a pitch.

Did you ever take a quiz for somebody?

I’ll bet you thought it was fun, even entertaining.

Maybe you were just curious to see if you could get a good score.

Anyway you look at it, quizzes are a great way to get new leads.

And once you set them up, just link to the quiz on your blog post or social media update.

You don’t have to think about it.

Leads will just show up on your email list regularly.

Respond to a survey

Now a survey is the same kind of thing as a quiz.

You’ll ask people to take a survey, like “what’s your favorite website host,” or something related to your niche.

People love being asked their opinion.

When you ask them to respond to a survey, you’re just asking for their opinion.

And then it’s just one more tiny step for them to subscribe to your newsletter to “see the results” of the survey.

All this can be easily automated, and will simply help you get new leads daily without any further effort.

Engage with an AI chat bot

Are you using Artificial Intelligence (AI) yet?

You know, those little bots that appear on your blog, or even in Facebook messages to invite people to chat?

It’s a wonderful way for you to build engagement with prospects.

And if that’s not enough already, you can use AI bots to get new leads daily!

I have a little AI bot on my blog.

And yes, I know that people can find them annoying.

But it works!

Whenever someone new comes to my blog, my AI chat bot invites them to click on my landing page.

It’s a squeeze page that tells them to sign up for my email newsletter.

Very effective.

Effortless.

Set and forget.

Content upgrades

So, when you’re writing a blog or social media post, you probably give out some real basic information.

Am I right?

I mean, you can’t possibly get into a whole detailed explanation of every single thing you’re talking about.

But maybe people want to know more about it.

I just talked about chat bots.

Now, if I were to use the ultra powerful tool of content upgrades, I could have put a little “content box” at the end of the “Engage with an AI chat bot” section above.

It could have said something like “Get my powerful 26 page guide to creating chat bots… just enter your email address below.”

How do you create the content box (or it could be a pop-up, or whatever you think looks cool)?

The simplest way is to get Thrive Leads which will definitely give you endless tools for getting those new leads daily.

Content upgrades are one of the very easiest yet most effective ways to get new leads daily.

They integrate lead capturing offers right inside of your blog post.

Just create a simple “upgrade” (lead magnet) to what you’re discussing.

An upgrade is some content that gives further explanation and deeper details to what you’re talking about.

It can be any “learn more” content like a free ebook, video walk-though or anything else that works for you.

Give it a try.

But no need to just take my word for it.

    Hi Donna,

    Simple and powerful tips here.

Being a pro blogger entails doing simple, easy things from a day to day perspective BUT on a year to year perspective, your emotional intelligence needs to be through the roof to do these things for 5, 10 or 14 years in a row, every single day.

Point blank; blogging is the most fulfilling, rewarding, freedom, fun and uncomfortable thing I have done. Bar none.

But facing these fears has allowed me to keep doing simple things daily for a long time. New readers and customers flock to generous, patient, persistent and consistent bloggers.

      Hi Ryan

I love that what you’ve found to be so fulfilling, rewarding, freeing and fun…. is also the most uncomfortable thing you’ve ever done.

      But that really makes sense.

To grow, you need to expand beyond your comfort zone.

      Otherwise you stagnate.

And, of course, you have do them “daily” and for “a long time”… consistency!

Hi Donna, I’ve been thinking about giving something away free to increase my email list.

I like the idea of the thrive leads. I do have thrive comments on my blog and am part of that system.

You really are giving me a lot to think about.

I’m not sure if I’m ready on the chat bot but I do see yours all the time here and it hasn’t been as annoying 🙂

I’d much prefer setting it up for my blog vs. social media.

Thanks for the tips and ideas here Donna, really excellent!

      Hi Lisa

A free giveaway will certainly help you build your email list.

You just need to be sure that it’s something highly relevant to the content of your blog post.

If you’re talking about building a small business, make your giveaway something about how to build a small business.

Or some aspect of building a small business, like “Building your small business requires a good email list. Learn how to create one from scratch with my free xyz.”

Thrive leads really helps you put together the web flow required to offer and deliver that freebie, or what we call in the marketing world… your lead magnet.

      Good luck with it all
